Dont suck a lollipop in a public loo!
Wow! What a fantastic day I had on Sunday. Art on The Prom in Felixtowe was such a huge success and I had a fab day! I sold loads of work and had great feedback which was terrific. You never know when you're working away in a studio if you are completely crazy or only marginaly so... enough people bought my work and passed acceptable comments to make me believe that whist I might sit on the fringe of society, I am not adrift! I want to thank - no this is not the Oscars - all of my friends and family who supported me thoughout the whole day. It was a bit like a beach party but on a prom, everyone was huggable and I do want to thank you all. Actually, Peter, I would like to thank you for a most memorable experience in a public loo! After you had gorged yourself on fine wine and food and presented me with a lolly because I was wasting away with the wind I had the need. Off I pop with my lolly, sucking away, and then at the entrance to the loo I thought, "Hmmm, not a good idea to bring this in here, i'll put it in my mouth." This was torture. Weeing and salivating, not being able to touch the lolly till after the event and handwashing was incredibly stressful. I would never had believed it. So, for this memorable occasion I would like to give you a special thank you, Peter. Torture aside It was a great day and I have already been asked to return next year. When I find my camera I shall post some pics which will hopefully include some of my friend Carol and her smoke fired raku pots.

I never dreamed my little lollypop would have such an impact! Good job it wasn't a stick of rock...
